Punjab National Bank: Giving a New Year gift to its customers, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has revised the interest rates on Fixed Deposit (FD). These new rates 1 January 2025 Has come into effect from. While changing the interest rates available on FD, the bank has also given the customers the option of longer tenure. These rates are for FDs up to Rs 3 crore.
PNB’s new FD interest rates
PNB offers different interest rates to the general public, senior citizens and super senior citizens.
- ordinary citizens: From 3.50% to 7.25%
- Senior Citizen: From 4.00% to 7.75%
- Super Senior Citizen: From 4.30% to 8.05%

Special benefits for senior and super senior citizens
- Senior citizens get more interest on every FD than ordinary citizens.
- Super Senior Citizens (80 years and above) get the benefit of 0.30% additional interest.

PNB has given more options by diversifying the tenure of FD. Now customers can choose short term (from 7 days) or long term (up to 10 years) FD as per their need.
