Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Eight people were booked for creating noise pollution by playing loudspeakers on the road in the Dwarkapuri area late on Monday.
Additional DCP (zone-4) Anand Yadav said that ASI Omprakash Awasya and his team were patrolling in the area when they received information that some people were playing loudspeakers creating noise pollution in the Prajapat Nagar area of the city.
The police team reached the mentioned place and found that some men were playing loudspeakers on the road and had blocked the road by installing a tent there. Some men fled the scene during the police raid. Two men named Jatin and Ashutosh were caught from there. They informed the police that they were organising a programme and other people named Himanshu, Mukesh, Harish, Mohit and Abhishek were also there. The tent owner’s name is Vicky.
They were organizing a birthday party and they didn’t take any permission for the same. The police also recovered two loudspeakers from the spot and further action is being taken against the accused.
