This WHO program provides students and recently graduated youth with experience in the technical and administrative work of the organization. Its objective is that participants increase their knowledge and gain experience in areas such as public health, medical sciences, and social sciences.

Eligibility

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate program from a recognized university or institute.
    • The study must be in a field related to public health, medical, social science, or administration.
    • Students who have completed their undergraduate degree can apply within 6 months.
  2. Education Period:
    • The candidate must have completed three years of regular education before starting the internship.
  3. nationality:
    • The candidate must have a valid passport of a World Health Organization member state.
  4. Age Limit:
    • The candidate must be at least 20 years of age as on the date of application.
  5. Language Skills:
    • The candidate must have fluency in at least one working language of the assignment office.

Field of Internship

  1. Technical Fields:
    • Work related to public health, medical science, and social science.
  2. Administrative Fields:
    • Human Resources, Communication, External Relations, and Management.

WHO Internship Duration

  • Minimum duration: 6 weeks.
  • Maximum duration: 24 weeks.
