Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Gwalior’s Yogendra Bhadauria has been selected as the wicket keeper and batsman for the Indian cricket team in the upcoming International Disabled Champions Trophy. 

The tournament will take place in Sri Lanka from January 12 to January 21, 2025. Teams from India, Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka are going to compete in the international match.

According to Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Disabled Cricket Association Sanjay Singh Tomar, the Disabled Cricket Council of India announced the names of 25 players selected for the tournament.

He added, Yogendra’s appreciable performance in various matches, including the recently held Champions Trophy in Jaipur, has earned him a place in the Indian team.

Yogendra’s loved ones overjoyed

Yogendra has previously displayed remarkable skills, especially in matches against England, making his selection even more commendable. His family and friends in Gwalior are overjoyed by this achievement.

Deepak Sacheti, the patron of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, and other officials congratulated Yogendra on his selection. They expressed confidence in his ability to make a significant impact during the matches in Sri Lanka.

The tournament is expected to be an exciting event, with the main competition between teams from India, Sri Lanka, England, and Pakistan.
