In a small village called Khagipur Sadwa, near Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh, lives a unique monkey named Rani. Although she was born a monkey, she has become the favourite of the entire village due to her human-like habits and helpful nature.
Rani arrived in the village about eight years ago and has been living with Ashok and his family since then. She quickly became a part of their daily lives, doing household chores just like any other member of the family. Rani helps with tasks like washing utensils, rolling chapatis and even grinding spices. Whenever the women of the house cook, Rani eagerly joins in to assist them.
A Village Darling
Rani is not limited to Ashok’s home. She visits other homes in the village and helps with work there. Sometimes she even spends the night after completing the daily work at their homes. Although Ashok’s house is her main home, she enjoys the freedom to roam and stay wherever she likes.
The entire village adores Rani. Wherever she goes, people welcome her warmly and even prepare a bed for her. Ashok mentioned that through Rani’s videos on YouTube, the family has earned over 5 lakh rupees. Ashok credits Rani for improving their lives and says that she was very close to his late mother. Now, Rani stays with his sister-in-law, maintaining her bond with the family.
Rani’s Unique Personality
Rani has a distinct personality. When she gets angry, she doesn’t harm others but starts biting her own hand. Seeing this, villagers immediately know she is upset and try to comfort her.
