Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two employees of a private company were killed after their two-wheeler was struck by a speeding tanker filled with propane gas under Kshipra police station limits on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 7:30 pm on Dewas Bypass Centre Point when they were returning to their places after finishing their job. They were rushed to MY hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.
The driver fled the scene after the accident, but the police have seized the tanker. According to the MY police chowki staff, the deceased were identified as Chandrakant More, a resident of Scheme No. 78 and Vikash Ranawat, a resident of Mangliya. Chandrakant died on the spot while Vikash died on the way to hospital.

Tanker wheel ran over
Vikas Vikas’s brother Vipin said that Chandrakant worked with him. He had told Vikas to return home with Chandrakant on the two-wheeler. Vipin was traveling separately on his bike with one of his friends. Chandrakant was riding ahead on the scooty when the high-speed tanker (registration number NL04D8800) hit them. Both fell on the road and the tanker’s wheel ran over Vikas. Vikas is survived by his wife and a one-year-old son. Vikas was married two and a half years ago.
Chandrakant was his mother’s only support
Family members said that Chandrakant worked in a pharmaceutical company. His father had passed away years ago due to illness and Chandrakant was the only breadwinner of his family to provide financial aid to his mother. He was unmarried and had been working for the company for several years.
