Miscreants Shoot At & Stab Youths, Held
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Miscreants shot at and stabbed two youths in Sonia Colony under Aishbagh police station late Saturday night. Taking prompt action, police arrested two of the assailants on Sunday morning. The arrested persons are habitual offenders and have past criminal records, police said.
As per reports, resident of Janta Quarters in Aishbagh area, Nafees Raja (25), works as marble cutter. He and his friend Tanzeem were on way to meet a person in Bagh Dilkusha area on their bike. They had reached Patang Wali Gali in Sonia Colony when some miscreants attacked them.
The miscreants opened fire on them resulting in gunshot injuries to Nafees in his hand. They also stabbed Nafees and Tanzeem and then fled when locals rushed to their rescue. Aishbagh police also reached the spot and admitted the injured persons to Hamidia Hospital.
Nafees claimed that the miscreants were quarrelling with some other persons and attacked them on suspicion that they were friends of their rivals. Nafees named Arbaz, Arman Ikka, Aman Kela and Faraz in the complaint given to police. Incharge at Aishbagh police station TI Jitendra Garhwal said an FIR had been registered against the accused. Two of them identified as Arbaz and Arman have been arrested, he added.
Two BTech Youths Die In Separate Road Accidents
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Two youths lost their lives in road mishaps in separate incidents in the city in last 24 hours. Both the deceased had recently completed BTech course. In the first incident, a youth identified as Rizwan Khan (22) died after an e-rickshaw in which he was travelling overturned on New Jail Road under Gandhi Nagar police station limits on Saturday night.
As per reports, Sehore district resident Rizwan Khan had completed BTech from a private college in Bhopal last year and was selected in an interview for a job in a company in Delhi 10 days back. He had planned to join job after his cousin’s marriage.
On Saturday, Rizwan had come to Bhopal for shopping. After alighting from the bus at Gandhi Nagar, Rizwan took an e-rickshaw for Karod. However, the e-rickshaw overturned after its driver lost control on New Jail Road. Rizwan who received serious internal injuries died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia Hospital.
In another incident, Akash Bharti (22) of Durgesh Nagar under Bilkhiriya police station limits was standing on the road in Kokta and was waiting for a friend when he was mowed down by a speeding jeep on Saturday night. Akash was rushed to the hospital where he died during treatment. Akash had also completed BTech and was searching for a job.
Bus Driver Hangs Self In Bairagarh
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A school bus driver committed suicide by hanging himself in his room under Bairagarh police station limits on Saturday. Investigations revealed that the man was suffering from depression since his wife had left him.
As per reports, hailing from Sehore district, Malkhan Singh (27) lived in Rajendra Nagar and was a school bus driver. On Saturday, neighbours found Malkhan Singh hanging and called police. Police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
Police said primary investigations revealed that Malkhan’s wife was not on good terms with him for the past six months and was living with her parents. Malkhan was suffering from depression, which may have forced him to take the extreme step.
