Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The sleuths of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have found digital evidence and concluded their raid on Friday night at eight premises linked to former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma, the officials said here on Saturday.
The sleuths had launched the raid on Friday morning in three cities Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur. Sources said the agency found many important digital evidence related to the financial transactions done by Sharma and his aides. During the earlier Lokayukta raid, the police had seized many diaries and documents in Bhopal. But the police did not search in Jabalpur and in Gwalior.
It is informed that the ED officials found investment related documents and digital evidence in Jabalpur. The team made searches at the residence and office of Sharma’s relative, Rohit Tiwari, in Shastri Nagar in Jabalpur and also in one more place.
In Gwalior, the native place of Sharma, the police have collected the information related to the investment. In Bhopal, the agency searched four locations, including Sharma’s residence at E-7/78, his second residence at E-7/71, his office shared with Chetan Singh Gaur at E-7/657, and the residence of another associate, Sharad Jaiswal.
