The Central and Western Railways’ Mumbai divisions will soon see new divisional railway managers (DRMs) as part of a routine transfer and posting exercise conducted by the competent authorities.
According to sources, the transfer orders, which involve several DRMs across the Indian Railways, were issued on Thursday, and the newly appointed officials are expected to take charge soon.
Hiresh Mina, a senior officer of the Indian Railways Traffic Service, has been appointed as the new DRM for Central Railways’ Mumbai division, replacing Rajnish Goyal.
Similarly, Pankaj Singh, a senior officer of the Indian Railway Services of Mechanical Engineering, will take over as the DRM of Western Railways’ Mumbai Central division, succeeding Niraj Verma.
Sources reveal that the transfer order impacts nearly a dozen DRMs across various divisions of Indian Railways. The changes are part of a routine reshuffle, with all DRMs whose tenures have concluded being replaced by new appointees.
