Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man brutally stabbed his neighbour to death in the middle of the road in Indore on Friday afternoon. The CCTV footage shows the accused attacking him with a knife multiple times and then slit-opening his throat.
The incident happened in the Pardesipura area of the city in broad daylight in Indore. The victim was stabbed nearly 20 times with a knife.
The deceased was identified as Vinod Rathore, resident of Ganesh Nagar. He worked as a waiter at Gurukripa Hotel.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrested the accused and sent the body for postmortem.
The entire murder was caught in the CCTV cameras installed at the roadside. According to information, Vinod Rathore had a dispute with accused Pramod Sai Yadav, who lived in the neighbourhood. The reason for the dispute is not yet known. When Pramod saw Vinod on the road alone in the Pardesipura area, he pushed him and stabbed him nearly 20 times with a knife on his body. He then slit his throat.
Accused arrested
Vinod was screaming out of pain, but Pramod didn’t stop and continued to stab him mercilessly. Following this, he went to his house and hid himself. The onlookers chased him and caught him. Meanwhile, police also reached the spot after getting the information.
The police then sent the body for a post-mortem and arrested the accused. The police have registered the case under relevant sections of BNS and began the investigation by recording statements of the onlookers.
