It looks like there won’t be any end to the decade-long feud between rappers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah. Recently, it escalated further after Honey Singh refused to end their ugly spat. Now, the Blue Eyes singer has reacted to a social media user and his fan who stated that Badshah doesn’t deserve to be a singer.
A couple of days back, Honey Singh’s fan named Ridey Behl, whose Instagram handle is @rideyay, posted a video in which he stated that Badshah doesn’t deserve to be a judge on singing reality show Indian Idol. However, he said that he was abused Badshah’s fans and followers on the social media platform.
“I made a Reel on Badshah, which Honey Singh also liked. I said that Badshah doesn’t deserve to be an Indian Idol judge. Subsequently, so many of Badshah’s fans abused me in the comment section and DMs. After Honey Singh liked the post, his fans also jumped in,” he is heard saying in the video.
He went on to say, “I’d like to apologise to all Badshah fans with folded hands that they’re Badshah fans. I’d also like to apologise that I said he doesn’t deserve to be an Indian Idol judge. In fact, he doesn’t deserve to be even a singer. What’s the point of abusing me? If I say I’ve applied Honey Oak perfume today, will you abuse me? No, right? There’s a honeycomb in my bathroom. Will you abuse me now? Tell me, is Badshah’s home immune to a honeycomb?”
As soon as he posted the video, Honey Singh took to the comments section and wrote, “Yo Yo Army is with you li’ll bro! Don’t worry.”

Recently, while promoting his documentary film Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, Honey Singh was asked if he would ever collaborate with Badshah again. Much to the shock of everyone, he refused to end their feud.
During an interview with India Today, Honey Singh lashed out at Badshah and said that he is the kind of person who spits and then licks it back.
“People often ask me about my controversy with Badshah. A fight happens between two people when both are involved, but for 10 years, one man kept abusing me, making songs about me, mocking my illness, and I never responded,” he said.
For those unversed, Honey Singh stepped away from the public eye in 2014 – 2015 due to health issues and continues to manage his bipolar disorder with medication.
He further mentioned during the interview, “It was only this year that I started speaking up, and that too because of my fans. My fans sent me DMs saying, ‘Please speak up, this is about our dignity now. A man (Badshah) is continuously speaking ill about you.’ As a result, he apologised and admitted his mistake. But he is one of those who spits and then licks it back; just watch, he’ll flip again. I don’t consider people like that to be anything.”
Earlier this year, during his performance at a concert in Dehradun, Badshah had expressed his desire to reconcile with Honey Singh.
He had said on stage, “There was a phase in my life where I held grudge against one person, and now I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind – and that’s Honey Singh. I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding, but then I realised when we were together, jodne waale bahot kam the, todne waale bahut the. I want to let everyone know I’ve left that phase behind, and I wish him all the best.”
Badshah and Honey Singh began their careers together as members of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, which also featured Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. The group delivered many hit tracks such as Khol Botal, Begani Naar Buri, and Delhi ke Deewane. However, after a public tiff, the duo went their separate ways and have regularly taken potshots at each other on social media.
