New Zealand fast bowler Southee DP will captain the Sharjah Warriors team in the third edition of the World ILT20. Sharjah Warriors believe that Southee’s experience and knowledge of the game will strengthen the squad for the upcoming ILT20 season.
It is noteworthy that the next season of ILT20 will start from January 11 and Sharjah Warriors will play their first match against Gujarat Giants on January 12. On this occasion, Southee said that Sharjah Warriors has an excellent team which has many good batsmen as well as skilled bowlers. It will be really exciting to captain and be with so many influential cricketers. The talks with the team management have also been very successful so far and we are confident that this season will be good. I am really excited to join and lead this team.
