Indian Air Force (IAF) AFCAT 01/2025 The application process has been started, which will end on 31 December 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting afcat.cdac.in. A total of 336 posts will be appointed through this recruitment process.
Educational qualification
- Flying Branch:
- Must have passed 12th class with 50% marks from a recognized institute.
- Maths and Physics should have been compulsory subjects in class 12th.
- Graduation degree in BE/BTech or Technology with 60% marks.
- Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:
- Pass in 12th class with Physics and Maths subject with 50% marks.
- Graduation in Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks.
age limit
- Flying Branch: 20-24 years.
- Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20-26 years.
application fee
- Application fee for all categories of candidates ₹500.
- NCC and Metrology Entry: No fee.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The selection process involves three stages:
- Written Examination:
- Total Marks: 300.
- Questions: 100 objective type questions.
- Time: 2 hours.
- Subject:
- General Awareness
- Verbal Ability in English
- Numerical Ability
- Reasoning & Military Aptitude Test.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview.
- Medical examination.
