A complaint was lodged at Bhopal police station in Ahmedabad city against builders Jaideep Kotak and Hiren Kariya for defrauding a senior citizen of Rs 3.33 crore in the name of selling a house and shop. Jaideep Kotak was arrested by the police and presented in Ahmedabad village court. Bhopal Police sought 14 days remand of the accused, the court granted 14 days remand till 2:30 pm on January 8, 2025. The statement of SP Om Prakash Jat has come out in the entire matter.
Giving statement on the case of fraud by builder in Ahmedabad, SP Om Prakash Jat said that a complaint has been filed against Jaideep Kotak and Hiren Kariya on charges of fraud by Prevelon Buildcon builder in Bhopal. A 22 storey scheme called Richement was built by a 14 storey scheme at Celestial near Bhopal. Both the builders neither had space for the scheme nor did RERA have anything. So far 183 applications have been received. SIT has been formed in the flat cheating case. There were 2 DySPs and 2 PIs in the SIT. So far it has come to light that a fraud of Rs 35 crore has been done.
There are two different complaints about both the schemes. However, accused Hiren Kariya is absconding. These accused were giving priority to returning the money to the investors. All the property of the accused will be confiscated. If the land owner is involved, it will not be tolerated and he will also be arrested. Jaideep is a land broker since 2013. A crime of extortion has been registered against Hiren Kariya. The police have started the investigation into the entire matter.
