The vehicle overturned into a ditch about 300-350 feet deep. As soon as the information was received, a team of 11 MLI reached the spot and started the rescue.

A similar tragedy also happened in the month of May

Earlier in May this year, an army vehicle had fallen into the valley in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. In which one soldier was martyred, 9 soldiers were injured. The accident occurred in Verinag area of ​​Anantnag district of South Kashmir. In Batagund Verinag area, the driver lost control of the steering and the army vehicle fell straight into the valley.

Last year, 9 soldiers were martyred when an army truck fell into the valley.

It is noteworthy that in August last year, an army truck had fallen into the valley near Kyari village in Leh, Ladakh. In this incident, 2 junior commissioned officers and 7 soldiers were martyred. The army truck was accompanied by an ambulance and a USV. A total of 34 army personnel were traveling in all these vehicles. The soldiers were going to Kyari from Karu Garrison near Leh.
