Mumbai: Siddhant Chaturvedi can play the role of Yuvraj in the biopic of Yuvraj Singh. The biopic of Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh was announced in the month of August. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the lead cast. But, Siddhant himself has given an indirect indication that he has signed the film by calling the role of Yuvraj Singh as a dream role.
Earlier in an interview, when Yuvraj Singh was asked who would be suitable for the lead role in his biopic, he had also taken the name of Siddhant.
However, trade circles are skeptical about the film. In the last two-three years, all the sports drama films have flopped. Even a film like ’83’ was not successful in attracting people. Under these circumstances, it is debatable whether Yuvraj’s biopic would be a commercially viable project.
