Bhopal/Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): A 19-year-old died and two others were injured when thier speeding car overturned in MP’s Khandwa on early Tuesday morning. The three friends were returning from the Sadhu Baba Mela in Dhama village when the accident occurred around 4 a.m.

Both injured victims were rushed to the district hospital for treatment, where their condition remains critical. Police are investigating the cause of the accident but believe the rough terrain may have played a role.

According to information, the deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Vikas, a resident of Jamli village in the district. In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, Vikas, along with two friends, namely Krishna and Karan, were returning to Jamli after attending the Sadhu Baba Mela in Dhama village. At around 4 AM, the car, a white Suzuki Alto K10, reached a rough patch of the road.

Due to the intense speed of the vehicle, the driver lost control and the car flipped multiple times before coming to a halt. The impact was so intense that the driver, Vikas, lost his life on the spot. Other two faced severe injuries.

Police Investigation

Onlookers saw the car flipped and called the police immediately. Police, arriving promptly, sent the injured to the local hospital for treatment, while the deceased’s body was sent for post mortem. A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
