Mar-a-Logo, Florida: President-elect Donald Trump is building his team. On Sunday, he decided to appoint Indian-origin Sriram Krishnan as the White House senior policy advisor on AI. He will work on artificial intelligence with the White House’s Department of Science and Technology Policy.
Krishnan has also worked as a product team leader with Microsoft, Twitter (now called X), Yahoo, Facebook, and Snap. He started his career with Microsoft. This is what the newly elected President said.
Regarding his appointment to this post, Krishnan said, I feel honored by this (probable) appointment.
Commenting on Krishnan’s appointment, Sanjeev Joshipura, Director, India Spora Group, said, Sriram has been a deep thinker and benchmark analyst in the field of artificial intelligence for years.
Earlier this month, Trump’s Indian American lawyer Harmeet K. Dhillon is to be appointed as Assistant Attorney General in the Justice Department.
