New Delhi: Bangladesh has sent a note to the Indian government to bring back Sheikh Hasina. The interim government of Bangladesh has sent a political message to India to return ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to Dhaka. India has replied no comments to Bangladesh in this regard. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal gave this answer.
Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina lives at an unknown place in Delhi. She had come to Delhi after the violence that broke out on August 5 this year and was dropped at Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad by a Bangladesh Air Force aircraft. Since then he is in India. He recently addressed the workers of his party Awami League through virtual league.
On August 5, Sheikh Hasina’s government was overthrown after 16 years. They are recognized for their good relations with India, liberal policies, and more secular policies than other political parties. The Dhaka-based International Criminal Tribunal has issued an arrest warrant against Sheikh Hussain.
Warrants were also issued against several former ministers, advisors, military and judicial officials. The Bangladesh government has demanded several times to send 77-year-old Sheikh Hasina back to Bangladesh. In the note issued by the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh, it has been said that we have issued a diplomatic note to the Government of India.
Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have received a note verbale from the Bangladesh High Commission requesting extradition.” At present we do not want to comment on this issue.
The matter of concern for India is that Pakistan and Bangladesh are coming closer. Maritime trade between the two is becoming stronger. Another Pakistani cargo ship sank in Langreve, Bangladesh this week. The ship carried 811 containers of industrial materials such as soda ash, dolomite and marble blocks. Tripura owes Rs 200 crore to Bangladesh
India’s Tripura state is to receive Rs 200 crore from Bangladesh, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said. Bangladesh has not paid this amount and its electricity bill is increasing daily.
He said that we hope that Bangladesh will clear this outstanding amount so that the power supply continues uninterrupted. But if Bangladesh does not pay this amount then it cannot be said for how long we will continue supplying electricity to Bangladesh. Tripura has been supplying electricity to Bangladesh since 2016. Apart from Tripura, Adani Power is also providing electricity to Bangladesh. It has reduced power supply to Bangladesh by 520 MW due to the outstanding loan of $800 million.
Yunus government’s allegation, India made 3500 Bangladeshis missing

An inquiry commission in Bangladesh now suspects India of having a hand in the disappearance of people in its country. This commission was formed by the interim government of Mohammad Yunus. Now the Inquiry Commission has claimed that India was involved in cases related to missing people in the country during the tenure of ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Tension has been going on between India and Bangladesh for a long time and now the tension may increase further. Mohammad Yunus Investigation Commission has estimated more than 3,500 people missing in its report. The commission said that law enforcement agencies say that many missing Bangladeshis are likely to be in Indian jails. The commission also said that Sheikh Hasina’s defense lawyer, retired Major General Tariq Mohammed, along with Siddiqui, two other police officers and several other officials were involved.
