Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Announces To Open Cancer Hospital In Sagar | FP Photo

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that a cancer hospital will be opened in Sagar. Along with this, law department will be started in Rani Avanti Bai University. By renovating Lakaha Banjara lake, drinking water crisis of the city will be sorted. He was addressing a programme held on Gaurav Diwas of Sagar on Monday.

He added that Ken-Betwa river link project is going to change the face of Bundelkhand. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who was the chief guest of the programme, remembered his childhood days he spent in Sagar.

He said that his father was posted in Mahar Regiment of Sagar. He remembered many fond memories associated with Sagar. ‘Sagar is not only a city for me. rather it is an undividable part of my life,’ he said. He added that development works of more than Rs 100 crore are being done here. Many development works have been done in Sagar and renovation of Lakaha Banjara lake is one of them.

Earlier, the CM dedicated and laid the foundation stone of development works of Rs 642 crore. CM and Pushkar Singh Dhami also felicitated renowned personalities of Sagar city.

Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar remembered the contribution of Dr Hari Singh Gaur in providing unique identity to Sagar. Minister Govind Singh Rajput, ex minister Bhupendra Singh, MLA Gopal Bhargava etc were present on this occasion.

Bhupendra left red faced Ex Minister Bhupendra Singh was miffed by seeing that his photo was not in the poster. Taking umbrage over the issue, he didn’t allow the leaders to felicitate him. However, he said that irrespective of his photo being in the poster or not, his entire life will remain dedicated for Sagar.
