An Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot may be launched to assist devotees at Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple. This chatbot will instantly answer their queries and help solve their problems. With this, devotees will be able to easily get the necessary information without any hassle.

An experience of Artificial Intelligence (AI) can also be seen in the Sri Venkateswara Temple of Tirumala. The temple administration has started thinking about bringing automation and AI chatbot for the devotees. This will help in increasing transparency and efficiency in pilgrimage services. This information was given by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam) Executive Officer (EO) J Shyamala Rao on Sunday. Shyamala Rao said that currently pilgrims have to follow manual process for accommodation, darshan and other services, which takes a lot of time.

AI will be of great benefit in the temple

The temple administration plans to automate these services through AI, so that devotees can get quicker and better service. He believes that automation will provide a better experience to the devotees coming to the temple and will also increase transparency in service. Rao also said that AI chatbots would be used to help the pilgrims. This chatbot will immediately answer the queries of the pilgrims and solve their problems. With this, devotees will not face any difficulty in approaching the authorities for their problems and they will easily get the necessary information.

Confluence of technology and purity

TTD aims to enhance the pilgrim experience through ‘appropriate use of technology’ while preserving the spiritual and cultural sanctity of Tirumala for future generations. Shyamala Rao also said that the temple administration is working towards the development of Tirumala under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of blending ‘traditional beauty and modern function’.

Effort to create an ideal pilgrimage site

Under ‘Vision 2047’, TTD aims to make the world’s richest Hindu temple the world’s most ideal pilgrimage destination. For this, the temple administration will pay special attention to environmental management, development and heritage conservation. This step will help in making Tirumala an ideal pilgrimage destination, where pilgrims will get better services and the sanctity of the temple will also be maintained.
