Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy blamed Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun for the death of a woman and critical condition of her son in the stampede outside Sandhya theatre. However, Allu Arjun denied the allegations leveled against him for the stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2 and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy denied the allegations.
On Sunday evening, members of the Joint Action Committee of Osmania University protested outside Allu Arjun’s house and vandalized it. He asked Allu Arjun to give money to the woman’s family. Rs 1 crore as compensation and assured all possible help to the family.
The protesters vandalized a kiosk placed outside the actor’s house and threw tomatoes at the house. However, the police took immediate action and arrested eight members of the JAC. However, Allu Arjun was not at his home at the time of the incident. Police have increased security outside the house to control the situation. The video of these demonstrations has also gone viral.
BJP has strongly criticized the attack on the film actor’s house. BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy said that the Congress government of Telangana has done a shameful thing by targeting actors like Allu Arjun. This kind of stone pelting and harassment of one of the largest taxpayers of South India and an eminent person is unacceptable.
Earlier, after Allu Arjun rejected the allegations made by Revanth Reddy in a press conference, Telangana DGP Jeetendra had said that film personalities should understand that the safety of citizens is their first priority. Along with this, the police also released CCTV footage of Sandhya Theatre. Police also claimed that Allu Arjun was watching a movie when he got the news of the woman’s death outside the theatre. However, he insisted on leaving after the film was completed. However, Allu Arjun left when the DGP gave him 10 minutes to go to the theater and threatened him with arrest.
At the same time, Allu Arjun has shared a post and appealed to his fans not to use any kind of abusive behavior or language offline or online.
