Mumbai: Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has once again praised Shahrukh Khan in an interview. He has said that ever since I stopped singing for Shahrukh Khan, there has not been a single good memorable song of Shahrukh Khan in all these years. In a podcast, he said that his co-star also used to call Shahrukh behind his back. He used to ask me why are you singing songs because of that stutter. At that time they did not consider him a big star.
Abhijeet expressed his desire to patch up with Shahrukh and said that our relationship is like husband and wife. Fights also happen between husband and wife. I am older than him. He should come forward and apologize to me. So I am also ready for patchup. In this podcast, when he was asked about Salman Khan, he replied that Salman is not at that level that I should talk about him.
It is noteworthy that Abhijeet Bhattacharya had sung many memorable songs for Shahrukh in the 90s.
Recently, when Shahrukh was given credit for a song in Lipa Dua’s concert, Abhijeet got angry and said that even though this song was filmed on Shahrukh, it was sung by me.
