Bengaluru: The Garden City has been experiencing cooler weather due to the impact of low-pressure systems, which have been activated in recent weeks. The city that witnessed the sunrise at 6:38 am is expected to experience light rainfall and partly cloudy skies on Monday, December 23. Meanwhile, the sun is scheduled to set at 6:00 pm. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 17 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cloudy skies are predicted to be mostly in the city and will likely remain the same throughout the day. The humidity level is expected to range around 67 per cent. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the Southeast at a speed of 8 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 70, which indicates moderate air quality in the city and its adjoining areas.

According to the weather department, light rainfall is expected in numerous parts of Karnataka. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has shared a weather report on X and stated, “Dry air is likely to prevail over the state with isolated showers. #KSNDMC.”
