Punjabi singers AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla set the stage fire on Sunday as the former surprised fans by attending the latter’s It Was All A Dream concert in Mumbai. The duo was seen heaping praise on each other, and Dhillon even made a bold statement about social media being used to peddle narratives against them amid his online spat with singer Diljit Dosanjh.
Dhillon got onto the stage and sung his chartbuster Brown Munde with Aujla next to him. Videos of their energetic performances have now gone viral on the internet, and in one of them, Dhillon can be heard saying, “A narrative is being pushed that these guys don’t like each other, they don’t get along… But I’m gonna tell you one thing, this social media is all corrupt. This is a narrative that people push. We f**king love each other.”
He went on to say, “I want to tell you one thing. Music is not a f**king sport. There is no winner or loser in this game. All it matters is who f**king keeps it real.”
Dhillon’s statement came amid his war of words with Diljit Dosanjh. For those unversed, Dhillon accused Diljit of blocking him on social media, after the latter gave the former a shoutout at one of his concerts.
The With You singer stated that Diljit was using his name as a marketing gimmick, and he would rather speak to him in person after being unblocked.
Diljit then took to his Instagram handle to share a screenshot of Dhillon’s profile and stated that he never blocked him. But not one to bow down, Dhillon went on to share ‘proof’ that Diljit had indeed blocked him earlier, only to unblock him later.
Diljit has not responded to the proof video yet.
