About Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament
The tournament is set to feature several big teams from the city. The MCA Colts who are in Group A will kick off their campaign against Payyade Sports Club at the National Cricket Club on December 21. The Colts will then face formidable opponents such as the New Hind Sporting Club and MIG Cricket Club giving chance for Shaw to shine with bat.
The Group B will have teams like Victory Cricket Club,Karnatak Sporting Association, National Cricket Club and Islam Gymkhana. Group C will feature teams like Cricket Club of India, Mumbai Police,Dr. D. Y. Patil Sports Academy and Bombay Gymkhana. Group D rounds out the competition with teams like P.J. Hindu Gymkhana,Parsee Gymkhana, Sponsors XI and Shivaji Park Gymkhana.
