Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) continued its raids in Indore for the fourth day on Thursday as they arrived at the residence of former owner of Ruchi Soya Rajesh Shahra.

A team of 10 ED officials from Delhi reached the residence of Shahra at around 6-7 am on Thursday. They seized mobile phones and laptops and scanned bank and property documents belonging to Shahra.

The raid comes in connection to a 2021 FIR against Shahra regarding a loan fraud of ₹58 crore. Currently, the Shahra family is involved in construction and property businesses.

It has also been reported that the family is preparing for a wedding, scheduled on December 21, amidst which the raid took place.

The ED had begun its operations in Indore on Monday, targeting various locations. Earlier, the team raided the properties of Congress leader Golu Agnihotri and his associates. After concluding their action at Agnihotri’s premises, the officials moved to Shahra’s residence for further investigation.

The investigation is still ongoing, and more details about the case are expected to emerge.

Further updates on the story will follow as information becomes available.
