Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): On the second day of assembly, Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar gave more chance to women MLAs to ask questions. A total of seven have asked questions which were mainly related to anganwadi, malnutrition etc. Women MLAs including ex Minister Archana Chitnis, Chanda Gaur, Jhuma Solanki etc asked questions.

People doing job in others name in Pichore: Preetam Lodhi MLA Preetam Lodhi tried to corner the state government by alleging that in Pichore, people are doing jobs in other persons name.

He asserted that such persons are doing jobs in anganwadi’s and education department. Women and Child Development Department Minister Nirmila Bhuira rejected the allegations. Preetam had alleged that Mewa Bai, anganwadi worker at anganwadi centre Majra Kunduli, is doing job in the name of Vimlesh. Nirmila Bhuria said that probe was done into the matter and it came to the fore that Mewa Bai is household name of Vimlesh.

Chitnis raises issue of closed mill of Burhanpur

BJP MLA Archana Chitnis attracted the attention of the government towards the plight of labourers of closed textile mill of Burhanpur and demanded that on the lines of Hukumchand Mill, government shall pay dues of labourers.

MSME Minister Chetan Kashyap said that the mill is having liabilities of Rs 1. 91 crore and the government will try to pay it. He assured Chitnis of resolving issues of mill labourers.
