Under the guidance of Administrator Praful Patel, with the cooperation of Dr. Arun T., Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports Department and Arun Gupta, Director, Sports Department, Youth Affairs and Sports Department of Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Administration organized a Union level sports competition in Silvassa for the selection of players for the 68th National School Sports Competition of the Union Territory.
Kho Kho (Under 17 Boys and Girls) competition was organized in Silvassa on December 14, 2024 in the Union level sports competition. In this competition, the winning players of the District Inter School Sports Competition of all three districts were seen representing their respective districts. The players who displayed high level of play among the players in the Union level sports competition were also selected by the selection committee for the 68th National School Sports Competition.
The results of Kho-kho competition in the Union level competition are as follows:
under 17 boys
Winner: Daman
Runner up: Dadra Nagar Haveli
Under 17 Girls
Winner: Daman
Runner up: Diu
The winning players of the federation level competition were felicitated with trophies and medals by the department officials of the three districts. The physical teachers of the players of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and the employees of the department made valuable contributions to make this competition a success.
