Dhamtari, 15 December (Hindustan Reporter). The Collector has issued information for reservation for the three-tier Panchayat elections 2024-25.
In compliance with the provisions, instructions and instructions of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Act 1993, reservation of posts of ward, sarpanch, district panchayat members, president and district members will be done from 17 to 19 December.
According to the information received from the Collector’s office, there will be category wise reservation of posts of members of District Panchayat Dhamtari and category wise reservation of women on 17th December at 11 am in District Panchayat Dhamtari. At the same time, from 12.30 pm, action will be taken for the posts of president of District Panchayat Dhamtari, Kurud, Magarlod, Nagari and women’s reservation.
On December 17, the action of category wise reservation of five posts of Gram Panchayats and category wise reservation of women will be held on 17th December in District Panchayat Dhamtari from 10.30 am, in District Panchayat meeting room Kurud from 10.30 am, in District Panchayat Magarlod meeting room from 10.30 am and in District Panchayat meeting room Nagri from 10.30 am. Will happen. On December 19, there will be reservation for district members and women from 10.30 am in District Panchayat meeting room Dhamtari, from 10.30 am in District Panchayat Kurud, from 10.30 am in District Panchayat Magarlod, from 10.30 am in District Panchayat Nagari. On December 19 itself, from 12.30 pm, the process of allocation and reservation of category wise seats for Sarpanch posts of Gram Panchayats and category wise seats for women will be done in the District Panchayat meeting room of Dhamtari, Kurud, Nagari, Magarlod.
Voter awareness corner organized in Kandel College campus
In view of the upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections, Voter Awareness Nukkad was organized under the Jabo program by the members of the Voter Awareness Club in the Government College Kandel campus under the guidance of Principal Ravish Das and under the leadership of Sweep Nodal Officer Lakshmi Narayan, as per the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Dhamtari.
