A massive fire erupted in the Poonam Chambers building, located opposite Atria Mall on Annie Besant Road in the Worli area of Mumbai, on Sunday. Ten fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene to combat the blaze.
The fire is reported to have been confined to the second floor of the seven-story commercial building. Firefighters are still working to prevent the fire from spreading to other floors.

As of now, there have been no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are investigating the incident.
Firefighters, police, BEST officials, and ambulances have all arrived at the site to assist in the ongoing operation.
Speaking about the incident, a former Maharashtra minister and the local MLA of the area, Aaditya Thackeray told the media, “There was a fire, but the good news is that there were no casualties. Firefighters are continuing their efforts to extinguish the fire.”
