After a rain-hit opening day of the third Test at the Gabba in Brisbane, India, Australia and fans will hope for more overs on day two of the decisive game. An early start is on the cards, with 98 overs set to be bowled as the stakeholders will hope for a result to come down.

Despite surviving 13.2 overs, Australian openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney will again have to fight hard against the pace trio of Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep. However, they must capitalize on the promising start at the Gabba to build a mammoth total.

However, given the forecast, it could be another start-stop day on the cards.
