Dausa district in-charge and Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathod said that the state government, committed to the upliftment of every section of the society, is working at a fast pace to fulfill all the ‘guarantees’ made to the people of the state. In order to accelerate the pace of development in the state and in the interest of public welfare, the state government has already taken many major decisions in the first year, due to which prosperity is being reflected in every area.
Colonel Rathod was talking to journalists on the occasion of completion of one year tenure of the present state government at the District Collectorate Auditorium here on Saturday.
Minister in-charge Colonel Rathod said that under the ‘Linking of Rivers’ scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the foundation stone of the ambitious Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) will be laid soon, so that the problem of drinking water, irrigation and water required for industry in 21 districts of the state will end. Will go. All the cities and villages of Dausa district will also benefit from this. About Rs 1 lakh crore will be spent on this scheme, of which the state government will have to bear only 10 percent.
He said that due to continuous effective monitoring of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the work of Isarda Dam Project will be completed next year, which will provide adequate drinking water of proper quality to the residents of Dausa district.
He said that the increasing incidents of paper leaks in the state had put a question mark on the future of the youth preparing for competitive examinations. As soon as the new government came to power, it has restored confidence among the youth by taking strict action against such crimes. During the tenure of this government, not only are competitive examinations being conducted in a transparent manner, but strict action is being taken by collecting evidence in the paper leak cases that happened during the tenure of the previous government. He said that the state government has announced 76 thousand 617 new vacancies on the first anniversary, which will be filled in a completely transparent manner.
Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore said that the state government is taking many steps for industrial development by creating an investment friendly environment in the state. Organizing ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit’ in the very first year of the government was a determined and challenging task, which was organized brilliantly and successfully. This will bring investment in the state and create new employment opportunities for the youth. 10 new policies have been brought after studying the policies of other states and discussing with the Central Government. With this clarity in the rules, investors will be able to invest in the state without any doubt. Union Minister Piyush Goyal has described these policies as an example for other states.
He said that work is being done on ‘one district, one product’ to promote the products and skills of every district in the country and the world. Apart from this, the concept of ‘Panch Gaurav’ has been introduced to preserve and promote the specialties of every district, under which basic and policy support will be provided for their promotion. For this, Sikandra Stone Article as a product, Fennel as a produce, Dhak as a species, Football as a sport and Mehndipur Balaji Temple as a destination have been selected in Dausa district.
Highlighting the achievements made by the state government in various fields in one year, the minister in charge said that by increasing the amount of ‘Kisan Samman Nidhi’ by Rs 2,000 per family, Rs 650 crore has been paid to the farmers. Similarly, to promote girl education, 1.25 lakh bicycles and 21 thousand scooters were distributed in one year. Five new medical colleges were started. Eight thousand smart class rooms were prepared in four thousand schools. Three lakh youth were given skill training. More than 10 lakh tap connections were made under Jal Jeevan Mission. Under the Ujjwala scheme, gas cylinders are being provided to 68 lakh families at Rs 450. Work on 20 thousand kilometers of roads was done by spending Rs 14 thousand 500 crore. Women are being benefited under various schemes for empowerment.
He said that several steps have been taken to strengthen law and order to ensure safety of common citizens by curbing crime. As soon as the government was formed, Anti Gangster Task Force was formed and action was taken to arrest the notorious gangsters. By running a campaign for cyber security, we have succeeded in curbing cyber crime.
The district in-charge minister said that due to the special geographical location of Dausa district and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Dausa will benefit the most from development. Large scale development work will take place here in the next four years. Dausa district will emerge as a hub of IT, logistics, manufacturing and skill centres.
On this occasion, District Incharge Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathod and Incharge Secretary Bhavani Singh Detha released the District Development Booklet. In this booklet, the achievements of development works, special innovations and public welfare schemes done in the district in the last one year have been shown.
