Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An assistant sub inspector committed suicide by hanging himself at the garage of 25th battalion at Bhadbada under Kamla Nagar police station on Friday. A suicide note found at the spot indicated that he was in debt and was suffering from depression, police said. As per reports, 55-year-old Anil Nagerao was posted as assistant sub inspector at State Garage.
On Friday evening, his son went to the garage close to their quarters and was shocked to see his father hanging from the ceiling. Anil was brought down by other members of the family and was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. Kamla Nagar police officials said that a suicide note was found at the scene in which the ASI has mentioned that he was in debt. His kin also informed that he was suffering from depression for the past some days, police added.
In another incident, an 18-year-old youth identified as Akash was found hanging in his room at Anna Nagar slums on Friday night. In-charge at Govindpura police station Awadhesh Singh Tomar said primary investigations revealed that Akash was a drug addict. His kin were being questioned further to ascertain reasons behind the incident, he added.
