Dehradun, 14 December (HS). Tourism, Endowments and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj on Saturday inaugurated the pastry and tea-coffee lounge named ‘Buransh Local Inspired’ at Hotel Hyatt Centric Dehradun. He described it as a unique initiative to promote the rich culinary and cultural heritage of Uttarakhand.
Minister Satpal Maharaj praised Hyatt Centric for including healthy dishes like Buransh Pastry, Jaunsar Pastry, Cicade Cookies and Buransh Kahwa prepared from local products in the lounge’s menu. He appreciated Hayat’s efforts in highlighting Uttarakhand’s produce and their health benefits and creating a platform for local food experiences. They’ve done a great job of naming the Himalayan flower Buransh and incorporating locally grown ingredients into their artisanal pastries and specialty beverages.
Shri Maharaj said that Buransh is not just a lounge, it is also a celebration of the vibrant culture and traditions of Uttarakhand. Through this endeavour, we hope to offer guests a unique experience that connects them with the rich culinary and cultural heritage of the region.
On this occasion, General Manager of Hyatt Centric Dehradun, Ajit Singh Gandhi, Vijay Bhatt and many officials and employees of the hotel were present.
