Hero MotoCorp has discontinued the Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200 4V motorcycles, following confirmation from dealer sources. Despite their availability in the market, both models failed to attract significant demand, leading to their removal from Hero’s website. The Hero XPulse 200T struggled to compete with its more popular sibling, the Xpulse 200 4V also saw limited customer interest. An official statement from Hero MotoCorp regarding the decision is still awaited.

Hero MotoCorp’s Xpulse 200T was a city-focused alternative to the Xpulse 200 adventure bike, offering features tailored for urban riders. It came equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, differing from the Xpulse’s larger spoked wheels, and had a lower handlebar with centre-set footpegs for a comfortable upright riding posture. The bike also featured a slightly longer wheelbase for a comfortable upright riding.

Powering the 200T was a 199.6cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve engine producing 19 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Priced at around Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the Xpulse 200T aimed to provide a practical yet performance-oriented option for urban commuters.

Hero MotoCorp’s semi-faired motorcycle, the Xtreme 200S, was last updated in July 2023. It featured a 199.6cc oil-cooled engine mated to a five-speed gearbox and was priced at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom) before being discontinued. At EICMA 2024, Hero showcased three new models — the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250, and Karizma 250 — signaling an exciting lineup ahead. The company is also expected to launch the Destini 125, which was unveiled earlier this year, in the coming months.
