Business leaders and CHROs from top organizations convened at the CII’s 14th HR Conclave, themed ‘Decoding the New HR Mandate’. The two-day summit spotlighted transformative strategies for integrating technological innovations like AI and Gen-AI, fostering an inclusive workforce, and addressing societal challenges.

Mr Sanjay Behl, Chairman, CII National Committee of Leadership & HR, highlighted the need for a balanced approach to evolving HR challenges. “While the focus on technology-driven trends and flexible work models has dominated recent discussions, business leaders must address critical societal imperatives. These include the meaningful inclusion of a vast workforce, the growing cohort of ageing-yet-active individuals, the displacement of underprivileged sections due to automation, and bridging cultural and mindset gaps across a multi-generational workforce,” he said.

The summit featured insights from CHROs of leading organizations, including Infosys, Tata Play, L&T, Aditya Birla Group, Axis Bank, and others.

Serving as a premier knowledge-sharing platform, the conclave redefined HR’s role as a strategic enabler, pivotal to driving sustainable growth, enhancing productivity, and fostering inclusivity in the ever-evolving future of work.
