The newlyweds, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya, have been making headlines since their traditional Telugu wedding on December 4. Sobhita, particularly, has been the talk of the town for her breathtaking bridal looks, blending her South Indian culture and modern couture. After capturing the heart in her traditional wedding saree, the actress has turned into a glided goddess for her and Naga Chaitanya’s cocktail party.

The renowned Indian couturier, Tarun Tahiliani, shared a series of stunning pictures on Instagram featuring Sobhita in one of his gold ensembles. The designer captioned the post, “Actress Sobhita (@sobhitad) chose Tarun Tahiliani for her post-wedding intimate cocktail hour event.” He also revealed that the ‘Made in Heaven’ fame donned his signature sculpted draped gown, complemented with TT jewellery and a TT bag from their collection.

The golden sculpted gown by Tarun had a striking design, featuring a plunging neckline that extended to the torso, a halter-style sleeveless silhouette, and a gathered draped detail on the bodice. The gown flowed into a pleated, floor-length skirt with a free-flowing design, complemented by a backless cut and a figure-hugging fit.

The shimmering ensemble was accessorised with dangling gold statement earrings, layered gold necklaces, and a beautifully embellished gold mini clutch from Tarun’s collection.

Her hair was styled in a centre-parted, messy updo. For makeup, she opted for smokey eyes, kohl-lined lids, mascara-coated lashes, nude lips, and glowing skin with rouge-tinted cheeks.

Sobhita’s traditional wedding looks

For her wedding ceremony, Sobhita made a stunning bridal statement by wearing two culturally significant sarees: a gold pattu saree and a madhuparkam saree. These timeless nine-yard garments are not only visually striking but also carry deep-rooted symbolic meanings, making them an integral part of South Indian weddings.

She complemented her bridal looks with exquisite gold jewellery, including traditional temple-inspired pieces such as layered necklaces, intricate jhumkas, and a bold maang tikka.
