Exam pattern and interview process:
The two papers that make up the NDA and NA written exam are the General Ability Test (600 points) and Mathematics (300 marks). Each of the tests with objective-style questions will last 150 minutes. It should be mentioned that every wrong response on the written test results in a 0.33 deduction in score.
The two-phase, 900-mark SSB interview is used to evaluate a candidate’s personality and intelligence. Only candidates who successfully complete the first round of interviews are eligible to go to the second round. To be accepted into the Air Force training, applicants must also be eligible for the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
Selection procedure:
Written Exam:
Candidates must first appear for a written examination.
Performance in the written exam determines eligibility for the next stage.
SSB Interview:
Shortlisted candidates from the written exam are called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) test.
This interview assesses various skills and qualities essential for selection.
Final Selection:
Selection is based on combined performance in the written exam and SSB test.
