Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Jan-Kalyan Abhiyan and Jan-Kalyan festival will be launched in the district along with the rest of the state on Wednesday. The campaign, dedicated to the welfare and development of youth, women, farmers and poor, will run till January 26.
Under the campaign, benefits of government schemes will be provided to every eligible beneficiary. Through a door-to-door survey, eligible beneficiaries deprived of benefits will be identified and provided all the benefits. Ward-wise camps will be organised in the city and panchayat-wise in rural areas. Collector Asheesh Singh informed at review meeting on Monday.
IMC commissioner Shivam Verma, district panchayat CEO Siddharth Jain, additional collectors Gaurav Benal, Jyoti Sharma, Roshan Rai, Rajendra Raghuvanshi and Nisha Damor along with officers of other related departments were present in the meeting. Collector Singh reviewed the preparations for the campaign. Along with this, he also reviewed the redressal of cases registered under CM Helpline. It was informed at the meeting that Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan Abhiyan would run from December 11 to January 26.
Beneficiaries identified at these camps would be given all the Central and state government benefits for which they are eligible. Jan-Kalyan festival will be celebrated from December 11 to 26. Under this, development works of various departments would be inaugurated and bhoomi pujan of projects would be done. Achievements of the State government in the last one year will also be displayed.
The Jan-Kalyan festival aims to deliver 34 beneficiary-oriented, 11 target-based and 63 other services to the common citizens. The activities conducted under the campaign will be monitored on the CM Helpline Dashboard, which will also be visible to the Chief Minister, collector and department officials. It was informed in the meeting that Revenue Maha Abhiyan-3, launched to resolve revenue-related matters, has been extended till 26 January.
