Bengaluru: The Silicon Valley of India has been experiencing a continuous drop in temperatures due to the impact of Cyclone Fengal, which has been affecting it since Sunday. Today, mostly partly cloudy skies are expected in the city, and they will likely remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius.
The city witnessed the Sunrise at 06:31 am and the city’s sunset is scheduled to set at 5:54 on Tuesday, December 10. The humidity level is expected to range around 60 per cent which is higher than the humidity level on Sunday. The wind is expected to blow steadily from the Northeast at a speed of 14 km/h and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 92 which indicates moderate air quality in the city.

The IMD has predicted partly cloudy skies, which are likely to remain the same throughout the day. Today, the weather department has not issued a rain alert in the city. Moderate rainfall is expected in North Interior Karnataka. However, a yellow alert has been issued for coastal areas and South Interior Karnataka as there is a possibility of heavy rainfall on December 13.
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has shared a weather report on X and stated, “Effect of depression in southeast Bay of Bengal and eastern Indian Ocean regions Moderate rain is expected in the southern hinterland coastal and rain Nadu districts of the state, and heavy rain is expected on December 12 & 13.”
