Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The BJP has decided to not do allow those who have come from other political outfits to take part in the ongoing organisational election. Only the old hands of the party will get a place in the election of district and Mandal presidents. The party-hoppers do not fit into the criteria fixed by the BJP for the organisational polls.

According the criteria, Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s supporters will be out of the organisational polls. The leaders who have been with the party for a long time will be part of the internal polls. At present, the election of Mandal presidents is going in the BJP.

Only those who have been working for the organisation at least for six years will be given priority in these elections. Scindia and his supporters have completed only four and a half years in the party. Because they do not have the required experience, they will not be allowed to take part in these polls. After the election of Mandal presidents, the party will elect district heads.

For Mandal and district presidents, the party wants to give a chance to those who have been associated with the organisation for a long time. Three of those who defected from the Congress to the BJP are ministers in the Mohan Yadav-led cabinet. Some of these leaders are legislators and want to adjust their supporters in the organisation. These politicians are finding it difficult to adjust their leaders in the organisation.
