Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Lyricist Manoj Muntashir offered prayers at Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple located in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district on Monday and took the blessings of Baba Mahakal (Lord Shiva).

Lyricist Manoj Muntashir spotted in Nandi hall

He was spotted sitting in the Nandi hall and was engrossed in the devotion of Baba Mahakal. After worshipping Baba Mahakal, he was seen leaning towards the Nandi and whispered a wish in Nandi’s ears. According to religious beliefs, Nandi is the vehicle of Lord Shiva and a symbol of devotion and whoever whispers their wish or prayer in Nandi’s ears, it will be fulfilled.

Lyricist Manoj Muntashir told local media that he often visits the Mahakal temple to take blessings from the Lord Shiva. He further added that he came to the temple 25 years ago when he was struggling in his career and personal life and Baba Mahakal took away all his pains and since then, it has become a ritual for him to visit the temple.

He came to Ujjain on Sunday for Antar-rashtreeya Geeta Mahotsav.

Notably, he is known for songs like, Teri Mitti’, ‘Galliyan’, ‘Tere Sang Yaara’, ‘Kaun Tujhe’, ‘Dil Meri Na Sune’, ‘Kaise Hua’ and ‘Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga’.
