Class 3 Boy Thrown 40 Feet Away After Being Hit By Speeding Car While Chasing Kite In Sikar | X

Sikar: In a shocking incident, a 7-year-old boy was hit by a speeding car in Rajasthan’s Sikar. The horrific accident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the area and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the kid was thrown about 40 to 50 feet away after being hit by the speeding vehicle. There are reports that the accident occurred when the kid was chasing a kite and came running in the middle of the road without noticing the speeding car. The child suffered serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.

The incident occurred on Friday (December 6) in Losal Police Station area. The video of the incident is going viral on social media and it can be seen in the video that the kid is running while trying to cross the road. There are reports that the child was chasing a kite after which a speeding car hit the kid after which the kid was thrown to some distance due to the forceful impact of the speeding vehicle. Luckily, the car driver applied brakes after the kid was hit and did not crushed the kid under his car.

The people present at the spot rushed to the kid and took him to SK Hospital. The hospital authorities referred the child to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. The child is receiving treatment at the SMS Hospital as he suffered serious injuries in the accident. The child suffered injuries to his head and other parts of the body and he is not able to speak after the horrific accident.

The victim child’s relatives said that the incident occurred on December 6 when the victim who has been identified as Shivam returned from school and went out to fly kites with his friends. The accident occurred when the child reached only 500 meters away from the house. He was running while looking at the sky and did not notice the speeding vehicle due to which the accident occurred.

Shivam is a resident of Ward No. 10 in Losal town and is studying in class 3. There are no reports of any police action in connection with the matter and the police said that no official complaint has been registered into the matter. The police also said that action will be taken based on the report.
