Jammu 07 December (His). Armed Forces Flag Day was observed in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha hoisted the armed forces flag at the Raj Bhavan to mark the occasion. The Lieutenant Governor expressed his gratitude and appreciation by contributing to the “Armed Forces Flag Day Fund” to honor the bravery and supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers, sailors and airmen.
He said that our armed forces have always been at the forefront, ready to serve the nation with commitment, dedication and render valuable service during natural disasters. He said the Army in Jammu and Kashmir is playing a vital role in fighting terrorism and providing a safe environment for the people, especially those living along the borders and in remote and remote areas of the Union Territory. .
The Lieutenant Governor said that with the immense contribution of our armed forces, we have entered a historic fast-track path of socio-economic development and are working with dedication to ensure that the fruits of development reach the people of the Union Territory. Reach every corner.
The Lieutenant Governor appealed to the people of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the privileged sections of the society, to donate generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund as a mark of remembrance and expression of gratitude.
