Bhopal, 7 December (HS). The three-day ‘Stree’ National Conference and Exhibition Stree 2024, jointly organized by Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Triple IT and Science Technology Council, has started from Friday, December 6, which will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today. That means it will be done on Saturday 7th December. The special guest of the program will be All India Organization Minister, Science Indian Shiv Kumar Sharma. 40 women scientists from across the country are participating in this conference as speakers.
In this regard, the women’s wing of Vigyan Bharti, Bhopal informed that the conference was inaugurated by organizing an exhibition on the first day at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), followed by two days of discussion sessions on various topics. The central theme of the program is ” Women as Preservers and Disseminators of Indian Knowledge Systems: From Adi to Amrit Kaal”. In this, the important contribution of women in preserving and promoting Indian intellectual and cultural heritage is being discussed. Yesterday an open session was held on woman administrator Ahilyabai Holkar. This session featured an in-depth and inspiring discussion on the life and legacy of Ahilyabai Holkar. In particular, it will be highlighted what lessons can be learned from the teachings of Ahilyabai Holkar for the empowerment of women in the present times. In various intellectual sessions to be held today and on the coming days, stories of successful women entrepreneurs from across the country will be presented and the problems and challenges of women entrepreneurs will be discussed.
