Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Police have arrested a man for stalking and molesting a 15-year-old girl in Bajariya area on Friday. Police station in charge Jitendra Gujjar said that on December 1 the minor girl had gone outside home with some work when the accused, Golu Kushwaha, approached her on his bike and molested her.
When the girl resisted and protested, the accused started abusing her and then fled from the spot. Gujjar said that the man was regularly stalking and molesting the minor for the past few weeks, but she did not inform anyone due to fear.
But this time, when the accused molested her again, she narrated her ordeal to her family members. He added that after the family filed a complaint, the case was registered against the accused under the POCSO Act on Thursday. After the investigation, police arrested him on Friday.
And after the court proceedings the accused was sent to jail on the same day.
Youth makes obscene gestures at teen, booked
Police have booked a man for making obscene gestures at a 14-year-old girl on Thursday evening, said Chunabhatti police on Friday.
Police station in charge Bhupendra Kaur Sidhu said that the girl was hanging out with her family members and they had stopped at a tea stall in the Chunabhatti square area when the incident took place.
A youth named Faiz, who was already sitting near the tea stall, allegedly started harassing the teenager by making obscene gestures and winking at her. When the family saw this, they went near the youth and warned him. This led to heated arguments between the family members and the accused. The family then reported the incident to the police, where a case was registered under the POCSO Act against the youth. Police are now looking for the accused
