The Border-Gavaskar Trophy never fails to deliver high-intensity cricket and unforgettable moments. One such instance during the second pink-ball Test at Adelaide Oval caught everyone’s attention. A light-hearted exchange between India’s Jasprit Bumrah and Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne went viral on social media.

This incident occurred during the 13th over, Bumrah bowled a sharp inswinger, which Labuschagne defended firmly before giving Bumrah an intense stare and sledged. The Indian pacer, in response, simply smiled and laughed, showcasing the competitive yet entertaining spirit of the India-Australia rivalry.

Next ball Bumrah bowls a sharp length ball which passed closely through Labuschagne bat, he wickedly laughs after it while Bumrah left no chance to express himself in return. These moments of banter, coupled with the high-quality cricket, make this contest a fan favorite.

Team India bowled out for another under 200 score as Mitchell Starc stars:

India won the toss and elected to bat in the second Test. However, their innings faltered early as Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed on the very first ball by Mitchell Starc. Shubman Gill (31) and KL Rahul (37) steadied the innings with a 64-run partnership, but India lost momentum with a flurry of wickets. Virat Kohli’s promising start ended prematurely as he fell for 7 after a delightful cover drive for four off Starc.

Nitish Reddy showed resilience, scoring 42 runs with three fours and three sixes. Starc delivered a stellar performance, claiming six wickets, while Scott Boland and captain Pat Cummins picked up two wickets each. India was bundled out for 180 in the first innings, leaving Australia in a commanding position as the match progressed.

In reply, Australia started steadily, though Jasprit Bumrah struck early, dismissing Usman Khawaja for 13, with that Bumrah marks his 50th wicket in test in 2024. Marnus Labuschagne and McSweeny are leading Australia’s charge.
