Bagh (Madhya Pradesh): Thakur Ajit Singh, a 77-year-old man from Rajasthan, was found dead in his rented house in the town.

He was a resident of Ganthia village of Nagaur district in Rajasthan and was living alone in a rented room in the Maharana Pratap Nagar area in the town.

As per eyewitnesses, Singh must have died in the room two or three days earlier. His body had swollen and turned black.

Upon receiving information, police reached the spot, inspected the residence and sent the body to the hospital for autopsy. The deceased was an employee of RK Stone Crusher in the town. SI Dilip Rao Khande of Bagh police station said that on the demand of the deceased’s family, who reached Bagh from Rajasthan, the post-mortem was conducted by a panel of two doctors.

Dr Mayank Rajput, who conducted the post-mortem said that the cause of death could not be established yet as the body swelled up.

Moreover, samples of the body parts will be handed over to the police for FSL examination. The cause of death will be clear when the FSL report comes. Bagh police have registered a case and taken the matter for investigation.
