Earthquake in Hyderabad: An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude struck Mulugu district of Telangana on Wednesday morning, tremors were also felt in Hyderabad and parts of Andhra Pradesh. The earthquake occurred at 7:27 am, causing panic among residents. This information has been given by the National Center for Seismology.

There is no news of any casualty or major damage so far. Authorities are assessing the situation, while experts have advised residents to remain alert during earthquakes and stay away from crowded or unsafe buildings.

An ex-user named Telangana Weatherman said that for the first time in the last 20 years, the most powerful earthquake occurred in Telangana, whose intensity was 5.3 and its center was Mulugu. The user said that earthquake tremors were felt in entire Telangana including Hyderabad.

Generally, seismic activities are very rare in Telangana, but now earthquakes are a rare occurrence in this region.

Earthquake of 2.9 magnitude hits Karbi Anglong, Assam

According to the NCS, the earthquake was recorded around 2:40 am and its epicenter was at a depth of 25 km in the Karbi Anglong region.

Earthquake of 5.8 magnitude occurred in Jammu and Kashmir

An earthquake of 5.8 magnitude hit Jammu and Kashmir on November 28, but there is no news of any loss of life or property.

The earthquake was recorded at 4.19 pm.

Officials said that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 165 kilometers at 36.49 degrees north latitude and 71.27 degrees east longitude in Afghanistan.
